What Is the Cornerstone Society?
The Cornerstone Society Isaiah House is a circle of visionary donors committed to a multi-year investment in ending homelessness and hunger in Essex County. Members pledge a minimum of $1,000 per year for five years, becoming foundational partners—our “cornerstones”—whose sustained generosity powers Isaiah House’s ability to provide shelter, meals, and transformative support year-round. This enduring commitment fuels long-term, systemic change for the families we serve.
Why Your Gift Matters
Isaiah House serves over 12,000 individuals annually with emergency shelter, mental health services, food access, daycare, and more. As a Cornerstone Society member, your unrestricted gift enables us to respond to rising needs, expand programs like our food pantry and recovery services, and invest in long-term solutions such as workforce training and housing retention. Your support sustains stability and restores dignity.
Member Impact & Recognition
Members of the Cornerstone Society receive exclusive updates on the lives they’re transforming. You’ll be recognized in our annual report, invited to private events and site visits, and celebrated as a pillar of community resilience as well as be honored on the Cornerstone Society Wall at 238 North Munn Ave. Your leadership inspires others to join our mission and directly contributes to measurable outcomes—from increased housing placements to reduced food insecurity.
